New Dawn - Cornwall, is happy to support your holistic flea and worming treatments - please discuss this with us prior to visiting us.

This vaccination is not a requirement to board with us but we do advise having these booster vaccinations yearly.

Please note that we are unable to board any dog that has had the Kennel Cough vaccination within 2 weeks prior to the boarding date due to the vaccination being a live ingredient.

Owners Consents

The following consents are required as a part of The Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018. The ‘Off Lead Disclaimer Form’ should be used in conjunction with this form if a dog is being walked off lead, to ensure your insurance is valid. This form must be completed for each pet.

In the event that your pet requires veterinary treatment whilst staying at New Dawn - Cornwall, where reasonably practicable your dog will be taken to its own veterinary practice for treatment. If this is not possible, your dog will be taken to:

Reminder of overnight boarding rates

Rates are £45 per 24hrs.
A second dog from the same home can stay for half price - £22.50 per 24hrs.
Home boarding is based over a 24hr period (overnight), times are flexible and we will do our best to fit in with your schedule.
Discounts are available for more than 5 nights.
We offer a 15% discount of stays for over 5 nights long.
Bank holidays are charged double.
Drop off and pick up times are flexible.
If you require extra hours outside of the 24hr period, we can provide additional hours of care to a discounted hourly rate of £4.

Reminder of day care rates

Rates start at £20 for half a day (minimum of 4 hours & includes a walk).
A second dog from the same home can stay for half price - £10 per 4hrs.
For 4+ hours of day care you can choose how many extra hours of care that you need for £3.50 per extra hour.

7 hours = £30.50

10 hours = £41
11-24 hours = £45
(same as our overnight rate)

Key information

All day care / boarding dogs at New Dawn - Cornwall must have a valid vaccination record or titre test certificate.
New Dawn - Cornwall does not require Kennel cough vaccination.
Day care / boarding bookings require full payment at the drop off or pickup. If you book in advance there will be NO REFUNDS for cancellations with less than 24hrs notice.
Overnight boarding is charged per 24 hours. Further fees will apply if you go over a 24 hours period. Please ensure you take this into consideration when booking. We are happy to help with this and provide a quote.
New Dawn - Cornwall will supply an ID tag with New Dawn - Cornwall, contact details for your dog to wear while staying with us.
New Dawn - Cornwall cannot take bitches in season.
If for any reason your return is delayed, please let New Dawn - Cornwall, know as soon as possible so additional arrangements can be made.
Dogs may be collected before the end of their booked stay, but there will be no refund.
Please arrive promptly at the agreed times where possible, as we do run to a schedule.
Suitable food and any medication must be provided upon arrival with clear instructions.

I (the owner) confirm to New Dawn - Cornwall, that I am the legal owner of my dog; that my dog has not been ill with any contagious disease or condition within the past thirty days and that my dog has received all necessary vaccinations.

I understand that New Dawn - Cornwall, is a dog walking, boarding and day care facility. I agree that my dog will socialise with other dogs and I accept the risks involved and agree that New Dawn - Cornwall are not liable for any injuries resulting during my dog’s attendance.

I understand that if my dog has a history of aggression or biting, New Dawn - Cornwall reserve the right to refuse entry to my dog and I have disclosed to New Dawn - Cornwall, any known dangers associated with my dog. Any behaviour deemed dangerous or inappropriate by New Dawn - Cornwall may result in the instant dismissal of my dog(s).

If using the pickup and drop off service, I recognise the risks of injury associated with transporting my dog to and from the property. I expressively waive and relinquish any and all claims against New Dawn Cornwall, it’s employees and representatives, except those arising from negligence on the part of New Dawn - Cornwall.

I understand that under no circumstances will New Dawn - Cornwall, be liable for consequential damages or damages beyond the replacement value of my dog.

I must disclose any medical conditions that may affect my animal’s health. If any medical problems develop while my dog is in the care of New Dawn - Cornwall and I cannot be contacted, I authorise them to do whatever they deem necessary for the safety, health and wellbeing of my dog and I agree to assume full financial responsibility for all expenses incurred.

I am aware that all dogs by law must be micro-chipped and I have been recommended to supply New Dawn - Cornwall, with this information in case of emergency.

Under the Control of Dogs Order 1992, I am aware that all dogs must wear a collar and an identity tag in a public place, with the tag detailing the name and address of the owner.

Payment Requirements / Cancellations

I understand that:

A deposit of 20% is required before sitting services are rendered. With the remainder to be paid on collection of dog, or on the last day of the sitting assignment. In the event of additional unforeseen visits or other costs (such as food, supplies, damage or vet fees), payment is expected within 5 days of the completion of services. All fees are due promptly and must be paid via standing order, cash or credit / debit card.
100% of the Fees if cancellation occurs less than 48 hours of the scheduled service;
50% of the Fees if cancellation occurs between 48 hours and 14 days of the scheduled service;
the non-refundable deposit, as set out in the Booking Form, if cancellation occurs not less than 14 days of the scheduled services.
I understand that the core hours of operation in which I can contact New Dawn - Cornwall, are Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Out of these hours, we will monitor messages and respond to anything urgent. Anything not urgent will be responded to during working hours.
